MedPorium Education
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the MedPorium AI tutor, practice question banks, diagnostic assessments and subscription services.
Effective date: 9 July 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the MedPorium website, diagnostic assessments, practice question banks, artificial intelligence tutor, study tools, subscriptions and related services available through medporium.co, collectively referred to as the “Service”.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Educational purpose
MedPorium provides educational materials intended to assist candidates preparing for professional certification and registration examinations.
The Service is a study aid only. It does not:
- Guarantee that you will pass any examination.
- Replace official examination materials, accredited education, textbooks, supervised clinical training or professional advice.
- Provide medical, nursing, diagnostic, legal or other professional advice.
- Determine whether you are eligible to sit, pass or obtain registration for an examination.
You remain responsible for confirming current examination requirements, eligibility criteria, policies, content outlines and examination dates with the relevant certifying organisation.
3. No affiliation or endorsement
Unless expressly stated otherwise, MedPorium is independently operated and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any examination board, certification organisation, professional association, educational institution or registration body. Third-party names, acronyms and trademarks are used only to identify the examinations for which the study materials are intended.
4. AI-generated content
Some parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate explanations, tutoring responses, summaries and educational guidance.
Artificial intelligence may occasionally produce incomplete, outdated or incorrect information. Important information should be checked against authoritative sources, including official examination content outlines and current professional guidance.
You must not rely on the AI tutor to make decisions concerning patient care, diagnosis, treatment, medication, clinical procedures, workplace conduct or any other real-world professional matter.
5. Practice questions and predicted scores
Practice questions, diagnostic results, readiness indicators, domain scores and predicted examination scores are educational estimates only. They are not official examination results and do not guarantee your actual examination performance.
MedPorium questions are independently prepared study materials. They are not recalled, copied or reproduced questions from a live examination.
6. Account use
Your account and subscription are personal to you. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity conducted through your account.
You must not:
- Share your account or login credentials with another person.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, resell or commercially exploit MedPorium content.
- Systematically download, scrape or extract question banks, tutor responses or study materials.
- Use bots, automated requests, data-mining tools or similar systems.
- Attempt to bypass subscription controls or access restrictions.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer or disrupt the Service.
- Use MedPorium content to train, develop or benchmark another AI model or competing product.
- Submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, malicious or infringing content.
We may restrict or suspend an account where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its question banks, rationales, explanations, software, branding, study tools, design and original educational content, is owned by or licensed to MedPorium and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
MedPorium grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial examination preparation. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
8. Subscription and billing
MedPorium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis at the price, currency and billing interval displayed during checkout.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorise MedPorium and its payment processor, Stripe, to charge your selected payment method when you first subscribe and automatically at the beginning of each subsequent billing period until you cancel.
Currency-conversion charges, taxes or card-provider fees may be imposed by your bank or payment provider.
9. Automatic renewal and cancellation
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the next renewal payment is processed.
You may cancel your subscription through the Manage Subscription link available on the MedPorium website. Cancellation prevents future renewals. You will ordinarily retain access until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.
Deleting your account, closing your browser or ceasing to use the Service does not automatically cancel your subscription.
10. Price changes
MedPorium may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will apply prospectively.
Where required, active subscribers will receive reasonable notice before a changed price applies to a future renewal. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
11. Failed payments
If a payment is declined, reversed or remains unpaid, MedPorium may retry the payment, ask you to update your payment method, suspend your access or cancel your subscription.
12. Refunds
Because access to digital subscription content is supplied immediately after purchase, MedPorium does not ordinarily provide refunds solely because you changed your mind, did not use the Service, forgot to cancel, postponed your examination or no longer intend to sit the examination.
MedPorium will investigate duplicate charges, charges made after a confirmed cancellation, incorrect charges and cases where purchased access was not provided.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Service availability
MedPorium aims to provide a reliable Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, outages, security incidents or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a subscriber cannot access a paid service for a material period, MedPorium will provide any remedy required by applicable consumer law.
14. Changes to the Service
MedPorium may improve, update or modify features, interfaces, question banks, tutor functionality and educational materials.
Examination structures and official content outlines may change. MedPorium may update its materials but does not guarantee that every external change will be reflected immediately.
15. User submissions
You retain ownership of original content that you submit through the Service. You grant MedPorium a limited licence to process that content in order to provide tutor responses, operate the Service, investigate technical problems, prevent misuse and improve service quality.
Do not submit patient names, medical records, confidential workplace information, payment-card information, passwords, live examination questions or information that you are not authorised to disclose.
16. Third-party services
MedPorium relies on third-party providers, including Stripe, Supabase, Vercel and OpenAI. Some functions may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers.
17. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis.
MedPorium does not warrant that:
- Use of the Service will result in examination success.
- Every question or explanation will be free from error.
- All examination requirements will remain unchanged.
- The Service will operate uninterrupted on every device or browser.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedPorium is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Service, including loss associated with examination results, employment, registration or professional opportunities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Suspension and termination
MedPorium may suspend or terminate access where:
- You materially breach these Terms.
- Your subscription payment remains unpaid.
- Your use threatens the security or operation of the Service.
- MedPorium reasonably suspects fraud or account sharing.
- Suspension is required by law.
Where reasonably practicable, MedPorium will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the courts having jurisdiction in New South Wales. However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the laws of the country or state in which you reside.
20. Changes to these terms
MedPorium may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, the law or its business operations. The current version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
